A 911 call leads to a drug arrest

HINESTON, La. (KALB News Channel 5) – A 911 call leads to bags of drugs in one woman's residence.

According to Rapides Parish Sheriff's Office, they have arrested Tori Lynelle Williford, 29, of Hinestone for possession of drugs.

Deputies were called to a residence in reference to a disturbance from a 911 call on August 26th.  Deputies diffused the situation and said they were given permission to search the residence for additional victims. 

While searching, they located two bags of suspected methamphetamine and some marijuana in a Williford's bedroom. 

She was taken into custody and transported to the Rapides Parish Detention Center.

Williford was charged with possession of CDS II and possession of marijuana.

She was later released on a $5,500 bond.
