SABINE PARISH, La. (KALB News Channel 5) - Sabine Parish coroner Ron Rivers says the body found in Winn Parish is that of  25 year-old Tony Procell.

Rivers says that Bob Barsley, a forensic dentist with F.A.C.E.S. in Baton Rouge, has confirmed the dental records to the body.

Rivers also told us that now forensic pathologist Mary Manheim began reconstruction to determine the weapon used.

The body was found on August 25.

Joe Dewil with the Sabine Parish Sheriff's Office says the body was found in an area that they had been looking for Procell, between Winn and Natchitoches Parishes.

Procell, 25, had been missing since August 20, after he is believed to have been kidnapped at gunpoint by Natchitoches police officer Robert Barthelemy.

Barthelemy remains in custody, charged with first degree murder, aggravated kidnapping and home invasion.

Crews had searched an area in the Kisatchie National Forest where Barthelemy allegedly told authorities he dropped Procell off to walk on the day of his disappearance. Finding no sign of Procell there, the search was widened to general areas in Sabine, DeSoto and Natchitoches parishes in the following days.
