UPDATE: Alexandria woman allegedly responsible for a series of burglaries

ALEXANDRIA, La. (KALB News Channel ) – The Rapides Parish Sheriff's Office said they believe an Alexandria woman is responsible for more burglaries in the Cenla area then just the ones she was arrested for on August 14 and 23. 

According to RPSO, they have arrested Nicole Damone Leach, 32, again for a series of burglaries. This time for burglaries that occurred in the Boyce, Hineston, Elmer and Cheneyville areas.

Leach is being charged with four counts of trespassing, six counts of criminal damage to property, eight counts simple burglary of inhabited dwelling and two counts of aggravated burglary.

Leach was first arrested on August 14th, for allegedly dressing up in scrubs and posing as a health sitter in order to target homes to burglarize. 

The investigation is ongoing.
