RPSO arrest four in meth house raid

ALEXANDRIA, La. (KALB News  Channel 5) – An  investigation leads to a meth house with four people allegedly breaking down methamphetamine  for distribution.

According to Rapides Parish Sheriff's Office, they have arrested Hilary Barnes, Tiffany Hart, Lauren Meynard and Stephan Butler for meeting and breaking down large amounts of methamphetamine for distribution in a home in the 3403 block of Nelson Street in Alexandria.

Detectives said they closed the investigation into a large scale of methamphetamine sales on September 5. Detectives received a warrant and conducted a raid on the home believed to be inhabited by the four supsects. They said they found Hart located in the living room and Barnes in a back bedroom.  Butler and Meynard were found in a rear bathroom. Butler allegedly threw two and half ounces of methamphetamine out a  window.

The meth was recovered and detectives located approximately four more grams of meth in the living room.  Smoking pipes, spoons with meth residue, and marijuana were also said to be located in the search.  The estimated value of the meth if sold by the gram would be approximately $9,000.

Barnes, Hart, Meynard and Butler were taken to the Rapides Parish Detention Center, where they remain.  No word at this time if bond has been set.

Barnes, 29, of Alexandria, is charged with possession of CDS I to distribute, possession of CDS II to distribute and possession of drug paraphernalia.

Hart, 30 of Boyce, is charged with possession of CDS I to distribute, possession of CDS II to distribute and possession of drug paraphernalia

Meynard, 31, of Alexandria, is charged with possession of CDS I to distribute, possession of CDS II to distribute and possession of drug paraphernalia.

Butler, 31, of Pineville, is charged with possession of CDS I to distribute and possession of CDS II to distribute.
