Man and woman arrested for allegedly robbing a man

ALEXANDRIA, La. (KALB News Channel 5) – A man and a woman have been arrested for allegedly trying to rob a man.

According to Alexandria Police Department, they have arrested Gregory Price Jr., 34, and Antoinette Phelps, 38, both of Alexandria for allegedly robbing a man while at a residence.

APD said officers were dispatched to Foisy Street on Sept. 9, in reference to a robbery.  The victim reported to APD that a male and a female at a residence on McEnery Street robbed him. The victim gave a description of the suspects and their vehicle.

Officers located the vehicle in the Bolton Avenue and Jackson Street area and conducted a traffic stop. Price and Phelps were taken into custody and transported to Rapides Parish Detention Center.

Both were charged with one count of simple robbery.

No other details have been released at this time.
