ALEXANDRIA, La. (KALB News Channel) To commemorate 9/11, many of the KALB team has added videos telling where they were September 11, 2001.

On September 11,2001,  terrorists attacked the United States. An extreme Islamic terrorist group called Al-Qaeda hijacked four passenger airliners for suicide attacks.  Two planes were crashed into the North and South towers  of the World Trade Center in New York.  Both towers collapsed.

A third plane was crashed into the Pentagon.  The plane caused a partial collapse of the building.

The fourth plane was heading to Washington, but crashed into a field in Pennsylvania. Passengers went to great strides to stop the hijackers.  The hijackers were trying to crash that plane into the White House.

On that day, 2,983 people lost their lives.

Tell us where you were on that day. Tell us the emotions that you felt when you heard the news.
