NEW ORLEANS (AP) - Traffic cameras - which at times have drawn the ire of some motorists and lawmakers - are the subject of a new public service announcement video being released by the city of New Orleans and American Traffic Solutions, the company that runs the traffic camera system for the city.

A city news release Tuesday said the video explains how the Road Safety Camera Program works. It also highlights support of the program from police, emergency responders and pedestrian- and bicycle-safety advocates.
