Tropical Depression #10 has been upgraded to Tropical Storm Ingrid. The storm is located about 50 miles east of Varacruz, Mexico. Little movement has occurred today but a northward drift is expected to begin Saturday and will be followed by a WNW to NW motion, carrying the storm into Mexico in a few days.
Conditions favor strengthening this weekend. Ingrid may produce 10-25 inches of rain and poses a significant threat for flash flooding and mudslides. Even south Texas may receive welcome rains from Ingrid. Littleor no impact is expected in central Louisiana.
