Alexandria man arrested for burglary

ALEXANDRIA,La. (KALB News Channel 5) – An Alexandria man has been arrested for allegedly trying to take electronic items from a motorcycle shop.

According to Alexandria Police Department, they have arrested 29- year-old Reginald C. Hill of Alexandria, for allegedly entering a business and taking various electronic items.

APD said officers were dispatched to the Renegade Harley Davison on North Mall Drive, in reference to a burglary on Sept. 12. The investigation found that someone had entered the building during the night and took various electronic items.

Detectives were assigned to the case. Their investigation led to Hill as a subject, according to APD.  Hill was located by patrol officers on Harris Street and taken into custody on Sept. 18.

He is charged with one count of simple burglary.

No other information has been released at this time.
