Man charged in death of local rapper released on bond

WINN PARISH, La. (KALB News Channel ) - One of the two men charged in the death of a local rapper has been released after posting bond. 

Edrick Stewart of Monroe was arraigned Tuesday in a Winn Parish courtroom.  He pleaded not guilty to charges of illegally discharging a weapon.  He has been in jail since his arrest on July 3rd.

He was arrested in connection to the death of local rapper, Addarren Ross, also known as Lil Snupe. 

Ross was shot and killed June 20th at a Winnfield apartment complex.  Stewart could face more charges pending the outcome of autopsy reports. 

Another man who was arrested in connection with the shooting, Tony Holden, remains in jail on unrelated charges, but could face charges in the shooting.
