TROPICAL UPDATE-DAY #110 - KALB-TV News Channel 5 & CBS 2

Posted: Updated:

Here is the latest from the Tropical Atlantic.

Humberto has dissipated about 895 miles WSW of the Azores. The remnants of Humberto will be absorbed into an extratropical weather system by late Friday. This will be the last statement issued on Humberto.

An area of low pressure continues over the southwestern Gulf of Mexico. This system has been designated 95-L. Convection is limited and disorganized, but there is still potential for tropical cyclone development during the next several days. Interests in Mexico and the Gulf Coast of the United States should monitor the progress of 95-L.
