RAPIDES PARISH, La. (KALB News Channel 5) Investigation by The Rapides Parish Sheriff's Office Detectives leads to four arrests.

On July 24, 2013, in the early morning hours, suspects went to Indian Creek Recreation Area maintenance yard and removed several lawn care items.  Four weed eaters, one Echo blower, one Honda four wheeler and a  New Scagg 48" Zero turn radius mower were taken.  The Rapides Parish Sheriff's Office Detectives have been working several thefts of yard equipment over the last few months from all over the parish, including Northwood High School.

Through their investigation, detectives were able to locate and recover the Scagg mower and  four wheeler taken from Indian Creek Recreation theft. According to RPSO, sufficient evidence existed to obtain arrest warrants for Michael Chatelain, Rebecca Voorhies and Randall Gregory.  On September 20, RPSO detectives executed search warrants at the Chatelain residence located at 1353 LA Hwy 1207 Deville, La. Chatelain, Voorhies and Gregory were located at the residence where RPSO said they were taken into custody without incident. According to RPSO, Brittany Gonzales was also at the location and was arrested on an outstanding warrant through another agency. All subjects were booked into the Rapides Parish Detention Center.  RPSO said Chatelain is being held on a $150,750.000 bond, Gregory is being held on a  $50,750.00 bond, Voorhies was released on a $50,750.00 bond and Gonzales was also released.
