WEST MONROE, La. (KNOE 8 News) - Putting your dukes up to the wrong person can land you in jail. That's exactly what happened to 24-year-old Christopher Redfearn.

Redfearn approached an on-duty officer on Grayson Street in West Monroe with his fists clinched. The officer advised Redfearn to step back, but he continued his actions, telling the officer to "come on."

Redfearn then continued to challenge the officer by doing push-ups. Family members intervened, telling the officer that Redfearn was drunk. But, the acts still landed him in jail on charges of simple assault on a police officer.
