Twelve arrests made in St. Landry warrant round-up

ST. LANDRY PARISH, La. (KALB News Channel 5) Six suspects still at large in St. Landry Parish "Operation Street Sweeper."  

According to Sheriff Bobby J. Guidroz, during the early morning hours of September 27, St. Landry Sheriff's Narcotics Enforcement Team, the Highway Interdiction Team, Opelousas Police Department, Eunice Police Department and Port Barre Police Department conducted a warrant round-up called Operation Street Sweeper.

Sheriff Guidroz said warrants were obtained through hours of surveillance and undercover purchases from several dealers throughout St. Landry Parish. 

In conclusion of the round-up, 12 suspects were arrested and six suspects are still at large. The following arrests were made in the round-up:

Blonda F. Hunt, 44, B/F of 1747 Caddo St. Opelousas, La. for two counts of distribution of a schedule II CDS (Crack Cocaine), violation of the uniform CDS in a drug free zone.

Shawn M. Knott, 34, W/M of 315 E. Pound St. Arnaudville, La. for possession of marijuana, possession of drug paraphernalia, obstructing public passages, turning signals required.

Lee A. Sam Jr., 23, B/M of 615 N. Union Street Opelousas, La. for distribution of a schedule I CDS (Marijuana), violation of uniform CDS in a drug free zone.

Arleen P. Reviere, aka "Snoopy", 56, W/F of 2998 Courtableau Rd. Port Barre, La. for distribution of a schedule III CDS (Lortab), distribution of a schedule IV CDS.

Marvin Lyle Jr., 37, B/M of 128 Leo St. Church Point, La. for distribution of a Schedule I CDS (Marijuana).

Henrietta Aymond, 59, W/F of 833 Martin Luther King Dr. Opelousas, La. for distribution of a schedule III CDS.

Torey Arline, 41, B/M of 422 Sapphire St. Opelousas, La. for distribution of a schedule I CDS (Marijuana), violation of the uniform CDS in a drug free zone.

Coley D. Rideaux, 31, B/M of 104 Anatole Road, Grand Coteau, La. for distribution of a schedule II CDS (Crack Cocaine).

Edgar Marion Sharp, 50, W/M of 462 Regina Street, Krotz Springs, La. for possession of a schedule I CDS (Marijuana).

Deborah Mires, 49, W/F of 547 Hwy 31, Arnaudville, La. for distribution of schedule I CDS (Marijuana).

Shawn M. Young, 44, W/F of 520 Eighth St, Krotz Springs, La. for distribution of schedule II CDS (Lortabs), violation of uniform CDS in a drug free zone.

These following suspects were not arrested and are still at large:

Freddie L. Alfred III, 23, B/M of 450 South 2nd St, Eunice La.

Brent Adams, 33, B/M of 144 Tulip Dr. Opelousas, La.

Richard Hatfield, 37, B/M of 1515 College St, Opelousas, La.  

Corey Arline, 21, B/M of 422 Sapphire St. Opelousas, La.

Jorel Hughes, 30, B/M of 613 Evergreen St. Opelousas, La.  

Kenneth D. Bob, 35, B/M of 303 S. Anderson Street, Washington, La.  

Rufus L. Ferguson Jr., 55, W/M of 533 N. Levee Rd., Krotz Springs, La.  

St. Landry Crime Stoppers asks that anyone knowing the whereabouts of these suspects still at large, call 948-TIPS for up to a $1,000.00 cash reward.
