Leesville Police Department's National Night Out

LEESVILLE, La. (KALB News Channel 5) - The Leesville Police are sponsoring the 30th annual National Night Out.

The event will promote crime prevention, police-community partnerships, and neighborhood camaraderie.

To show your support, you can leave your outside porch light on or join in the fun-filled evening at Dogwood Park in Leesville.  There will be free food and activities for kids, and Daren the dare lion will also be on-hand. Leesville police say that the event is important in reaching out to the community.
