Sulphur man booked with rape

LAKE CHARLES, La. (AP) - Authorities say a 33-year-old Sulphur man is facing two counts of rape and one count of encouraging or contributing to child delinquency.

Calcasieu Parish Sheriff's Office spokeswoman Kim Myers tells the American Press ( ) Kenneth Wayne Roussell was arrested Monday. He is accused of giving a 13-year-old girl beer and marijuana and then raping her.

Roussell is being held on a $600,000 bond.

It was unclear whether he has an attorney.
