ALEXANDRIA, La. (KALB News Channel 5) – Alexandria police have arrested a second man in connection to a shooting that occurred on 3500 Block of Lee Street on Sept. 22 around 3:16 a.m.

APD said they arrested 31-year-old Roderick K. Hall on Wednesday for one count of attempted second degree murder.

The morning of the shooting a  male victim was said to be transported to a local hospital where he was treated and released for a gunshot wound.

A warrant was obtained by detectives following a disturbance reported to APD on Sept 8, which occurred in the 3400 Block of Jackson Street.  Detectives said they found that Hall committed a battery and threatened the victim with a handgun.

He was also arrested for second degree battery and possession of firearm by convicted felon.

APD also arrested Major James Tarleton Jr., 24, of Alexandria for one count of first attempted degree murder on Sept. 23 in connection to the Lee Street shooting.
