Boyce Branch Library to hold annual book sale

BOYCE, LA. (KALB News Channel 5) Boyce Branch Library Book Sale and Library Fair to kick off on October 17.

The annual Boyce Branch Library Book Sale and Library Fair will be held on October 17-19. Book Sale hours are from 9 a.m. to 5 p.m. each day, with various activities following.

On October 17, from 5:15 to 7:15 p.m., Boyce Branch Library Manager Margie Mealer will lead "One Boyce, Many Stories" a time for sharing fun facts and history about Boyce as well as crowd participation in sharing Boyce memories of days gone by. October 18, from 4:30 to 6:30 p.m. is Quick and Easy Crafts. Mealer, who will lead the craft-making, said the crafts will make great homemade Christmas gifts.

On October 19, community leaders will read to the public during "Hot Dog! Boyce Reads!" from 11 a.m. to 4 p.m. There will be free hotdogs, chips, sodas and face painting. For information, call Margie Mealer at (318) 793-2182.
