ALEXANDRIA, LA. (KALB News Channel 5) Little Caesars Love Kitchen coming to Alexandria.

A traveling pizza kitchen on wheels will roll through Alexandria on October 18 to feed the residents who regularly dine at Manna House.

The Little Caesars Love Kitchen, which travels across the U.S. and Canada serving fresh pizza to individuals and groups in need, will stop at Manna House, temporarily located at 2500 Third Street in Alexandria on Friday, during regular serving hours, 11:30 a.m. - 1:15 p.m. According to Manna House, all are welcome to eat free at Manna House, no questions asked.

"Little Caesars visited Manna House last year," said John McClure, executive director of Manna House, "The community will be excited to hear that they will be returning again this year. We greatly appreciate the support of our local Little Caesars."

Local Little Caesars franchise owners Jeremy and Veronica Duncan will participate in the program by providing the food and labor costs for the Love Kitchen servings, which have fed more than 2 million people in 48 states and four Canadian provinces since the program's inception.

"Last year when the mobile kitchen visited Manna House, we provided around 275 pizzas through the Love Kitchen program," said local Little Caesars manager Nathaniel Ashworth. "We are happy to support the hungry in our community."
