New Orleans man arrested for soliciting children

NEW ORLEANS, La. (KALB News Channel 5) Attorney General's office arrests New Orleans man for soliciting children.

According to the Louisiana Attorney General's High Technology Crime Unit, a New Orleans man has been arrested and charged with two counts of computer aided solicitation of a minor and two counts of indecent behavior with a juvenile.

Michael Panarello, 45, of 1908 Constantinople Street, was arrested on October 15 as part of a joint investigation involving the Attorney General's High Technology Crime Unit, New Orleans Police Department, Slidell Police Department and Homeland Security Investigations.

According to the Attorney General's office, Panarello was booked into the St. Tammany Parish Jail. He faces up to 10 years in prison on each count of computer aided solicitation of a minor and seven years on each count of indecent behavior with a juvenile.
