In the Atlantic, Gulf of Mexico and Caribbean, there is One area of interest that we are monitoring for further development in the Atlantic Basin.
A broad area of low pressure is located about 200 miles NNE of Bermuda and producing disorganized showers and thunderstorms. The low is expected to move NE along a frontal boundary over the Central Atlantic during the next couple of days.
Environmental conditions remain unfavorable for Tropical or Subtropical development. This system has a LOW chance (<10%) of becoming a Tropical Cyclone during the next 48 hours and the next 5 days.
Elsewhere, development is not expected during the next 48 hours.
