(NBC)  Two Evansville, Indiana roommates who had their pet pygmy goats taken from them are fighting to get them back.

Cole Raven and Bradley Davis now have to travel if they want to visit their former roommates.

"This is about 35 miles north of our actual house to visit our pets. It's pretty terrible. I'd rather just go to our backyard to see our pets," Raven says.

The guys say their pets were taken because of a city ordinance that bans all large animals, including all goats.

"But these pygmy goats are actually smaller than most large dogs. In fact, they only get up to 70 pounds when yet some Great Danes get 100 to 200 pounds," Raven says.
