APD needs help locating person of interest in Lee Street homicide

ALEXANDRIA, La. (KALB News Channel 5) -The Alexandria Police Department is asking for help locating a person of interest in connection with the Lee Street homicide investigation.

Police are looking for Stormy Cofer, 21, approximately five feet six inches tall, and is around 130-140 pounds with reddish colored hair.  Her last known address was in Alexandria. There is no clothing description or vehicle information available.

Detectives said that around 5:43 p.m. Monday, an APD officer on patrol in the 2800 block of Lee Street was flagged down and notified that someone had been shot. The shooting occurred on Dallas Street near the intersection of Lee.

The victim was identified as 18- year-old Keiunna D. Collins of Alexandria. Collins was taken to the hospital where she was pronounced dead.
