APD: five arrests made in Lee Street homicide

ALEXANDRIA, La. (KALB News Channel 5) – Police had arrested five people in connection to a homicide that happened Monday.

Alexandria police said they arrested Stormy Cofer, Alfred J. King, Barbara J. Harris, Tramaine B. Vallery and Antonio O. Fells in connection with the Lee Street homicide that left 18-year-old Keiunna D. Collins dead.

Stormy Cofer is charged with one count of second degree murder in the investigation.

Detectives said that around 5:43 p.m. Monday, an APD officer on patrol in the 2800 block of Lee Street was flagged down and notified that someone had been shot. The shooting occurred on Dallas Street near the intersection of Lee.

Alfred J. King, Tramaine B. Vallery, Barbara J. Harris, Antonio O. Fells are all charged with charged with one count of accessory after the fact to second degree murder.  King is also charged with a parole violation.

The investigation is ongoing. No other details have been released.
