VPSO: Man arrested for inappropriate sexual conduct with a juvenile

VERNON PARISH, La. (KALB News Channel 5) Runaway investigation by Vernon Parish Sheriff's Office leads to arrest of Leesville man.

According to Sheriff Sam Craft of the Vernon Parish Sheriff's Office, Sean Williams, 21, of Leesville has been arrested for inappropriate sexual conduct with a juvenile. On October 27, 2013 VPSO received a report of a runaway juvenile female at approximately 8:45 a.m.

VPSO said during the investigation deputies obtained information, and they were able to locate the female juvenile and Williams together at a location in the Leesville area. Both were transported to the Vernon Parish Sheriff's Office where they were interviewed by Detectives.

According to VPSO, during the course of the interviews both Williams and the juvenile admitted to inappropriate sexual contact. Williams was arrested and charged with one count of Contributing to the Delinquency of a Juvenile, one count of Oral Sexual Battery and one count of Felony Carnal Knowledge of a Juvenile. VPSO said bond is pending, and Williams remains in the Vernon Parish Jail.

VPSO said the juvenile female was arrested on one charge of Ungovernable/Runaway and was released into the custody of her parents.
