A strengthening low pressure system in the plains will help to increase moisture across Cenla. While a few short wave systems move through, this will give us the chance for isolated heavy thunderstorms by Wednesday evening. Convection is expected to increase with the approaching trough. While wind shear is expected to be strong, which augments the possibility of severe weather, overall instability may not be as strong considering the chance of thunderstorms before the front. However storms capable of damaging winds, large hail, or isolated tornadoes can't be discounted. While the front will lower temperatures modestly, another system is expected to move through Friday night which should cool us down a bit more, as low as the mid 40s, and bring us clear skies.
