APD: Two arrested for burglary

ALEXANDRIA, La. (KALB News Channel 5) Burglary investigation by the Alexandria Police Department leads to arrests.

According to the Alexandria Police Department, On October 29, Detectives arrested Timothy P. White, 36, and Stephanie Enkey, 43, both of Alexandria. White and Enkey were each charged with two counts of Simple Burglary

APD said on October 1, Officers were dispatched to an apartment complex in the 4500 Block of Parliament Drive in reference to a burglary. According to APD, the investigation found that someone had entered the yard and patio area of two residences and took several copper and iron items.

According to APD, on October 29, APD Detectives were contacted by Detectives from the Rapides Parish Sheriff's Office who had detained White and Enkey on another matter. Their investigation led to the arrest of White and Enkey, and both were transported to the Rapides Parish Detention Center for booking. APD said this incident is still under investigation.

The Rapides Sheriff's Office said White and Enkey were also booked on RPSO charges. White was charged with one count of Vehicle Burglary, one count of Simple Burglary, two counts of Criminal Trespass and one count of Simple Criminal Damage. Enkey was charged with one count of Vehicle Burglary, two counts of Criminal Trespass and one count of Simple Criminal Damage.
