An upper level ridge is dominating our weather pattern. As the jet stream flows around the high it is bringing us cool dry air from up north. As the high moves toward the east, it will begin to pull moisture and heat back our way. This will be in time to fuel thunderstorms brought to us by another front during the work week, as a trough digs our way. While we aren't looking for much in the way of severe weather, we are looking at scattered showers and thunderstorms, then conditions will return to where they are now.
