The 87th Annual Natchitoches Christmas Festival is on its way

NATCHITOCHES, La. (KALB News Channel 5) – The 87th Annual Natchitoches Christmas Festival is coming back to town.

It will be held Dec. 7, and armbands now on sale. They are $6 for 12 and older and $4 for children 6-11. Children 5 years and old and younger are admitted free. The last day to purchase armbands will be Dec. 6 at 5 p.m.

You can purchase the arm bands at the following locations:

Bank of Montgomery (including the Cloutierville branch)

City Bank and Trust Company (including the Many and Campti branches)

Exchange Bank

First Federal Bank of Louisiana

La Capitol Federal Credit Union (including Alexandria and Pineville branches)

Midsouth Bank

Sabine State Bank

Brookshire's

Causey's Pharmacy

Hampton Inn &Suites

Neebo Bookstore

You can also purchase the bands online at www.natchitocheschristmas.com

The armbands can be purchased the day of the festival, but they will be $8 for 12 and up, $5 for children 6 -11 and 5 and under can get in for free.

The entrance  located at Church Street and Williams Ave will open at 5:30 a.m. on Dec. 7. All other gates will open  6:30 a.m. Armbands are required for entry onto Front Street and the downtown riverbank.  Armbands purchased on the day of Christmas festival must be paid in cash. ATM machines will be available.

The Saturdays of Dec. 14 and Dec. 21 admission to the riverbank will be $5 for 12 and up.
