PINEVILLE, La. (KALB News Channel 5) - A special procession brought the body of firefighter Dustin Bordelon to its final resting place today.
Friends and family joined firefighters and public servants from all over the state to honor the 24-year-old.
The procession made it's way through Pineville and under a special gateway formed by two ladder trucks from the Alexandria and Pineville Fire Departments.
Bordelon's casket was draped in an American flag.
Bordelon died in a house fire early Sunday morning.
He was a firefighter for Rapides Parish Fire District 2.
