In the Atlantic, Gulf of Mexico and Caribbean, we are keeping an eye on one disturbance in the Northern Caribbean Sea.
A non-tropical LPS (Low Pressure System) located over the Eastern Atlantic Ocean about midway between the Lesser Antilles and the Azores is producing some disorganized shower and thunderstorm activity. Development, if any, will be slow to occur as it moves to the NE during the next couple of days.
This system has a LOW chance (<10%) of becoming a subtropical or tropical cyclone during the next 48 hours. Elsewhere, no tropical development is expected during the next 5 days.
