APD: two teens arrested on drug charges

ALEXANDRIA, La. (KALB News Channel 5) – Two Alexandria teens have been arrested on drug charges.

According to the Alexandria Police Department, Desmon Jenkins, 17, and Courtney D. Seals, Jr., 18, were arrested after a narcotics related investigation at a residence in the 700 block of Everett Street.

Both Jenkins and Seals were found to be in possession of suspected Marijuana.

Jenkins was also found to be in possession of suspected Promethazine and a firearm.

APD also said both Jenkins and Seals had outstanding warrants for their arrests, issued by the Alexandria City Court. They were arrested without incident and transported to the Rapides Parish Detention Center for Booking.

Jenkins is charged with one count of marijuana possession, one count of possession of CDS Schedule IV drugs and one count of possession of firearm with drugs.

Seals, Jr. is charged with one count each of possession of marijuana and possession of drug paraphernalia.
