Suspect charged in Alexandria bank robbery

ALEXANDRIA, La. (KALB News Channel 5) Alexandria man charged in Nov. bank robbery.

According to the Alexandria Police Department, on Dec. 6, Jamaris Gray, 30, of Alexandria was booked in the Rapides Parish jail for allegedly robbing the Jackson St. Branch Chase bank.

On Nov. 14, 2013, Alexandria Police responded to a robbery reported by a Chase bank official. APD said an investigation began with The FBI Safe Streets Task force to identify Gray as a suspect. APD said after turning himself into the FBI in San Diego, Ca. Gray was extradited back to Louisiana and charged with one count of 1st degree robbery.
