NATCHITOCHES, La. (KALB News Channel 5) - The city of Natchitoches held it's Christmas parades at the annual Christmas Festival of Lights, this weekend.

People from all over the United States came to Natchitoches for some holiday cheer on a big scale.

There's plenty of food, fun and spirited displays for the Christmas holiday.

It's also a special salute to the city's tri-centennial celebration.

"We love it. We do this as a family every year rain, sleet, snow, sun or shine."

"Well we're excited we've never been here before, but my wife read about it on the Internet and we decided we would do something for Christmas every year so we came down," said Jim Johnson who visited from Wisconsin.

The Natchitoches Christmas Festival of Lights runs through Saturday, January 4th.
