GPSO: man arrested on drug charges

COLFAX, La. (KALB News Channel 5) – A Montgomery man was arrested by Grant Parish deputies on drug charges.

According to the Grant Parish Sheriff's Office, they received a report of a suspicious vehicle north of Colfax.

When deputies responded, the suspect fled on foot. 

After a brief chase, Teddy Nash, 26 years old, of 600 Grow Street in Montgomery, was arrested.

He is charged with Possession of CDS II (crystal methamphetamine), Possession of CDS III, Possession of CDS I (marijuana) 2nd offense, Possession of Drug Paraphernalia, and warrants for failure to pay child support. 

Nash was booked into the Grant Parish Detention Center and a bond was set in the amount of $21,589.
