Peek-a-boo sunshine brought afternoon high temperatures into the upper 50s to the lower 60s. Many, Natchitoches, Colfax, AEX, Oakdale, and Bellwood all reached 63 degrees while Opelousas stayed at 58 and Simmesport at 59. The 30-year daily average is 59 and the record is 81 in 1952.
