RPSO: Trespassing arrests made

RAPIDES PARISH, La. (KALB News Channel 5) Rapides Parish Sheriff's Office arrest two for trespassing in Boyce.

According to the Rapides Parish Sheriff's Office, Albert Micklus III, 25, and Amy Renee Hodnett, 21, were arrested on Jan. 3 for trespassing on a hunting club in Boyce.

RPSO said from the beginning of hunting season, they received several complaints of people trespassing and hunting on leased hunting clubs. RPSO said the complainant was able to provide photos of the two subjects and during the course of the investigation, detectives from the Boyce Sub-station were able to identify the suspects through these photos. RPSO said Micklus, a convicted felon, was also charged with Possession of Firearm by Convicted Felon. 

RPSO said Hodnett was released on a $250.00 bond, and Micklus remains in the Rapides Parish Detention Center on a $2,750.00 bond.
