According to the Rapides Parish Sheriff's Office, on Nov.  1, 2013, deputies responded to a burglary in the Kelley Land subdivision area, and the victim alleged someone stole some large flat screen televisions. The following day, the victim made contact with Bruce Conner, 18, of Alexandria, who admitted to taking the televisions and returned one of them. The victim called RPSO, and a deputy responded to the scene and arrested Conner. RPSO said Conner was charged with one count of Simple Burglary and transported to the Rapides Parish Detention Center. He was later released on a $3500.00 bond.
