Four Colfax men arrested in drug investigation

COLFAX, La. (KALB News Channel 5) Undercover investigation leads to arrest of drug dealers in Colfax.

According to the Grant Parish Sheriff's Office, an undercover investigation of several months ended on Jan. 9, 2014 with the arrest of four Colfax men. GPSO said Deputies discovered illegal drugs, guns and cash after searching a residence at Church Street in Colfax.

- Dale Manning, 55, of 1009 Church St. Colfax, was arrested for Distribution of CDS II.

- James Manning, 53, of 905 Chester St. Colfax, was arrested for Distribution of CDS II. 

- James Manning, Jr., 17, of 905 Chester St. Colfax, was arrested for Two counts of Distribution of CDS II.

- Jamarlon Manning, 29,  of 905 Chester St. Colfax, was arrested for Possession of CDS I, Possession of CDS IV and Illegal Carrying of Firearms. 

GPSO said bond for Dale Manning, James Manning and James Manning Jr. was set in the amount of $50,000.00.  Bond for Jamarlon Manning was set at $25,000.00. Sheriff Steven McCain said the four were responsible for a large amount of crack cocaine sold in the Colfax area. 

"With the arrest of these individuals, we have put a huge dent in the crack cocaine sales going on in Colfax," Sheriff McCain said.
