BUNKIE, La. (KALB News Channel 5) – According to Bunkie Police, on January 13 at approximately 11:00 a.m., police received a call that an employee of a local business had been kidnapped, robbed, and sexually assaulted.

The suspect, identified as Quinton M. Williams age 33 originally of Lake Charles, La. entered the business and forced the employee into a back room where he assaulted her.

Afterwards he forced her to remove the money from the register and give it to him.

Bunkie Police said he then forced her to drive him to a Marksville hotel where she managed to escape from him and called out for help.

Williams fled the scene.

A worker in the parking lot told her to get inside the hotel.  The worker assisted Marksville Police in directing them to where Williams fled.

Marksville Police apprehended Williams.

Detective Chad Jeansonne began an investigation resulting in the arrest of Williams on charges of Armed Robbery, Aggravated Rape, and Aggravated Kidnapping.

Williams was transported to APSO.
