"Because of the Times" conference coming to Alexandria

ALEXANDRIA, La. (KALB News Channel 5) - The Pentecostals of Alexandria will host the 31st "Because of the Times" conference Tuesday through Thursday, January 21-23, 2014. 

This annual conference is designed for ministers, pastors, evangelists, missionaries, along with those in various other ministry positions. This year's theme is "Revive.

More than 3,000 people will arrive in Alexandria from across America and around the world for three days and nights of spiritual inspiration, restoration, teaching, and direction.

More than 200 missionaries, regional superintendents, and native national pastors representing over 25 nations will be in attendance. 

The conference consists of two major divisions, which run simultaneously: the main conference for ministers and their spouses and a conference for "PKs"—preacher's kids ages 13 to 19.

"Because of the Times" begins Tuesday evening with a keynote message by Anthony Mangun, Senior Pastor of the Pentecostals of Alexandria. 

Other speakers during the conference include David Bernard, General Superintendent of the United Pentecostal Church International, Stan Gleason, Assistant General Superintendent of the United Pentecostal Church International, Vesta Mangun, Terry Shock, Jeff Arnold and others.
