RPSO investigation leads to drug arrests

ALEXANDRIA, La. (KALB News Channel 5) Rapides Parish Detectives arrest three men after discovery of high grade marijuana at a residence.

According to the Rapides Parish Sheriff's Office, Detectives from the RPSO Metro Division concluded a long term investigation with the arrest of two Pineville men and one Alexandria man.  

RPSO said on Jan.  21, 2014, detectives executed a search warrant at 422 Sunny Hill Road, Pineville La. after reports that narcotics were being sold from the residence. Detectives located approximately 411 grams of high grade marijuana with an estimated resale street value of over $11,000.00. Detectives also located methamphetamine, digital scales and smoking pipes. 

Adam Kennedy, 29, Brent Watts, 25, and Benjamin Rosier, 29, were taken into custody without incident and booked into the Rapides Parish Detention Center on various drug charges. All three subjects were later released on bond.
