Sneaux day part deux

Posted: Updated:

ALEXANDRIA, La. (KALB News Channel 5) - It's another snow day, and Cenla residents are trying to trudge through it.

"It's all about the same. It's just making it real muddy out here and it's just real hard to get around. Got to be very careful because everything is sliding," said Cardell Lewis.

Some took to the slopes while others enjoyed other outdoor activities.

"The dogs are wonderful. They were used to it on Friday because of the snow, now they're even better. They love this cool weather and snow," said Carla with her dog Sammy.

Warm meals were on many minds as customers headed to the grocery store.

"Driving has not been difficult at all, I just need a few things to make some soup so I headed over here to grab it so I can go back home and make some soup for dinner tonight," said Kathy Russell.

And while some are ready for the snow to melt - others wouldn't mind another snow day.

"I love the snow. I've been in Indianapolis so you know the snow is just another day for me to get up and out here and get to work," said Lewis.
