RPSO: work release walk off captured

RAPIDES PARISH, La. (KALB News Channel 5) - The inmate who walked away from the Rapides Parish Sheriff's office work release facility has been captured.

Jonathan Webster was captured about 5 p.m. on February 7 by RPSO along with the U.S. Marshal's Violent Offenders Task force.

According to RPSO, Jonathan Webster, 27, of Alexandria, walked off the facility at approximately 6:45 pm on February 5.

This occurred as the inmate was returning from a work detail.

RPSO said Webster, was last seen wearing a gray sweat pants and gray sweatshirt. 

He was serving a sentence for burglary and theft and is not considered dangerous.
