(KALB News Channel 5) -- As we mentioned earlier this morning, we've experiencing technical difficulties with our broadcast. This relates back to the winter ice storm we had last week when lightning struck our transmitting tower.
We usually upload select pieces of our newscasts, Good Day, and Jam to our website within 24 hours.
Suddenlink customers should have our broadcast back. Suddenlink receives their signal differently than Dish, DirectTV, or simple antenna.
These technical difficulties stem back to the ice storm when a lightning strike damaged a significant portion of the electronics in our transmitting tower. You may have experienced on-and-off signal, great signal for a while, low signal, or no signal.
We are well aware that many of our customers are still without our broadcast. We are extremely sorry about this, and we're working as fast as we can to get our broadcast out to the rest of our customers.
