By all accounts, the weather helped us end the week on a good note.
Colder weather moved in behind Thursday night's front and sent thermometers into the 30s and 40s. At some locations, the temperature dropped over 40 degrees overnight Thursday. Winnfield and Fairfield touched freezing while readings in the south stayed in the lower 40s.
Despite ample sunshine, afternoon highs managed to reach the 60s. Ville Platte and Natchez, Miss. hit 63 degrees but Rigolette made it up to 69 degrees. These numbers are near the long-term daily average of 65 degrees.
Enjoy a comfortable Saturday but hit/miss rain returns Sunday. Have a good one!
