KINDER, La. (KALB News Channel 5) -  Operations are returning back to normal at the Coushatta Casino Resort, following a fire investigation.

As of 11:00 a.m. on Sundaymorning, Feb. 23, casino officials say power has been restored to most of the resort.

Gumbeaux's, Terrace Cafe, and  Cafe Grande are back open for business on Sunday.

Most slots and table games are back open, as well as bingo, Seven Clans Hotel, Coushatta Grand Inn, Red Shoes RV Park and Feather Fuel.

Allen Parish investigators tell us a generator at the casino resort caught on fire on Saturday night,

We're told there was an evacuation at the casino, which remained closed on Saturday night, due to some smoke inside the building.

Photos sent to us and our partner station, KPLC-TV, show crowds of people outside the resort and anothe picture shows the empty gaming area blocked off by caution tape.

Investigators say the fire has been extinguished and no injures were reported.
