Gas Prices Are Up Because Of Violence In Producing Countries

Posted: Updated:

Gasoline prices have jumped 12 cents in just two weeks.

The latest Lundberg Survey sets the national average at $3.41 a gallon.  It's a little lower in Louisiana, $3.26 for a gallon of regular on average. It is an average so prices could be a little higher or a little lower depending where in Louisiana you are.

Lundberg says crude oil prices rose because of violence in petroleum-producing Venezuela and the Sudan.
