ALEXANDRIA, La. (KALB News Channel 5) - Myron Lawson was at the Downtown Alexandria Rotary Club today to give a "unique look into the Central Louisiana Business League."
The league is designed to promote small and emerging businesses.
Their goal is to encourage people to do business with minority owned businesses to help them to grow.
Lawson says the league has been able to bring many small businesses into the mainstream with major contracts in Cenla.
"We have participated with organizations like the GAEDA board and the incubator. We are actually one of the organizations that helped promote and start the incubator in Central Louisiana," said Lawson.
Lawson owns Myron K. Lawson State Farm and Lawson Realty.
