Winter weather returned to central Louisiana Wednesday on the heels of a strong cold front that moved through the area Tuesday night.
The colder air followed the front and dropped temperatures during the daylight hours from the 50s into the 30s and 40s. A soaking rain also accompanied the front. Plaucheville reported two inches for the highest amount measured in our weather watchers network.
The sky will clear Wednesday night and temperatures will fall back below freezing with middle 20s to near 30 degrees the range. Don't forget to bring in the tender plants tonight.
